Product description

What is RDT?

Single dosing is fun and great for your coffee, but it can make quite a mess. Sound familiar? Coffee sticking everywhere and ending up outside your portafilter? Frustrating!
The culprit is static during grinding.

This is where an RDT spray comes to the rescue. RDT stands for the Ross Droplet Technique (RDT), which we discovered thanks to the legendary James Hoffmann.

The technique involves adding a few drops of water to your beans before grinding. The result? A more consistent puck, since less ground coffee sticks inside your grinder.

Pro tip: Combine it with the Coffee Dosing Tray for the ultimate single dosing duo. What are you waiting for!

How to Use the RDT Spray

Here’s how to use an RDT spray:

  1. Lightly mist your coffee beans with a fine spray of water. For the most even coverage, use the coffee dosing tray.
  2. Give your beans a quick shake to distribute the water evenly.
  3. Then grind the beans as usual.
  4. And voilà! No more static. Your grounds end up neatly in your dosing cup or portafilter.
